School History

Our Founder and Head of Schools

Energized for Excellence Academy, Inc. Elementary School was founded on September 8, 1998, with a mission to provide a dynamic, high-quality education that empowers students to thrive academically and personally. From the very beginning, the school has been committed to creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to think critically, explore creatively, and grow confidently.

The school was established by Lois Bullock, a visionary educator whose passion for equity, innovation, and excellence laid the foundation for what would become a model of student-centered learning. Her leadership inspired a culture of high expectations and continuous growth that still defines Energized for Excellence schools today.

As the demand for high-quality education continued to grow, the school expanded to include a middle school division, allowing students to continue their academic journey in a familiar, supportive environment. This expansion built on the success of the elementary program and provided a seamless transition for students, with a continued focus on strong academics, character development, and college and career readiness.

Today, Energized for Excellence Academy, Inc. Elementary and Middle Schools stand as a thriving educational community, serving students with dedication, purpose, and a deep belief in their potential. As we reflect on more than two decades of growth, we remain proud of our past and excited for the future.
