The purpose of the Energized for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Academy (E-STEM) is to enhance student achievement by engaging and exposing students in grades 6-12 to innovative science and math instruction. It also serves as a demonstration site to inform math and science teaching and learning across the state. The academy aims to provide a comprehensive education, establish a personalized culture with the goal that all students achieve postsecondary success, and offer teacher and leadership development. Additionally, the academy participates in the T-STEM 3 (Texas Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Grant application.
